Under the stewardship of scholar T.V. Gopinatha Das, PAMPA has been exemplary in blending both traditional and modern stage design techniques to enthrall its audiences, without diluting the purity of the art form. At PAMPA, we believe that while the nuances of dance are indeed the most important component of the Indian experience, the art of stage design and innovative communication also form an integral part of the appreciation of dance. In order to serve this recipe to lovers of art and culture in the US, PAMPA was founded in California by Dr. Purna Prasad in 1992.
